In re
      John J. Cowan          deceased.

      This is the last will and testament of me John J. Cowan of St. John’s Newfoundland. I appoint Dr. Nutting Fraser to be my Executor I give, devise and bequeath unto my daughters Maude Fraser, Helen Smith and Floss Cowan all my possessions, not otherwise specified, to be used in such ways as they deem fit    In witness whereof I the said John J. Cowan have to this my last will and Testament set my name this twelfth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and nine    John J. Cowan Jessie C. Stranger     N. S. Fraser Witnesses
