Will of Thomas Croke from Newfoundland will books volume 5 pages 366-367 probate year 1889 Last will and Testament In the name of God Amen. This last will and Testament of Thomas Croke of Logy Bay in the district of St. John's Newfoundland farmer, made his will on the 13th day of December 1873 and specify as follows. That I Thomas Croke being in advance state of health but at the same time in a sound and perfect state of mind, and memory and understanding do therefore make this my last will and testament and will dispose of my house and farm, and property, to my son Patrick
Croke, he is to have four masses celebrated two before I die and two after and the same Patrick Croke's mother is to have her own room and the use of the house without any hindrance and the sowing of one barrel of potatoes and six hens and her support. And also to have four masses celebrated for his mother before or after her death
And my son William Croke he is to have the use of the bog and passage as his brother, and Mike his son is to have the farm after his fathers death. Thomas Croke. Witness John Pearce, Thomas Codyon.
