In re DECEASED.
JOSIAH DAWE.
In the name of God Amen.
I Josiah Dawe of Ship Cove, Port-de-Grave Conception Bay Newfoundland Fisherman
being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and declare this to
be my last will and testament in manner following that is to say:- I
give and bequeath to my son Eleazer Dawe my house which I now occupy together
with my furniture crockeryware & cloths, furniture consists of four tables
five chairs one rocking chair and cushion one chest-draws one bed, bedding
and bedstead two trunks one cloths box, two guns one spinning wheel one set
flat irons one stove and one boiler and one washstand and three lamps I
give and bequeath to my stepson Jacob Warford one garden known as the pond
garden. The remainder of my land I give and bequeath to my son
Eleazer Dawe consisting of four gardens, Kitchen garden Cellar garden Valley
garden & Whort-hill garden. I also give and bequeath to my
son Eleazer Dawe my stable. I do hereby nominate and appoint Jabez
Dawe and Roy L. Dawe executors of this my last will and testament hereby
revoking and making void all former wills by me made and declare this only
to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I
the said testator Josiah Dawe have to this my last will and testament put
my hand and seal this sixth day of September in the year of Our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and twenty four.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator Josiah Dawe as and
for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who in his presence
and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names
as witnesses this sixth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and twenty four.
