Will of Emma Dawe Doyle from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 545 probate year 1932

IN RE                    DECEASED.
Emma Dawe Doyle

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Emma Dawe Doyle at 136 Gower Street, St. John's of Newfoundland made this twenty six day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty one.
I hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint Robert Dawe, Insurance Agent of St. John's to be my executor, and direct that all my debts and funeral expense shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
I give and bequeath unto
(1) My interest in the Common Stock of the Great Gull Lake Copper Co. Ltd. amounting to three thousand shares to be divided as follows viz: Unto my neices Ida Wright of St. John's five hundred shares, Emma Brinton of St. John's three hundred shares, Ethel Smith of Cupids Three hundred shares, Maggie Smith of Henley Island, British Columbia, Canada four hundred shares. My friends Mary V. Dawe of St. John's, three hundred shares, and R.A. Parsons solicitor of St. John's two hundred shares, unto my spiritual advisor and friend Rev. W.E. Godfrey, curate of St. Thomas Parish St. John's five hundred shares and my friend Robert Dawe of St. John's five hundred shares - this latter not to be considered as payment on account of service which may be rendered in settling my estate as Executor.
(2) I direct that my household furniture and all the contents of my Dwelling shall be sold by Public sale, and if the amount realized for the same be one thousand dollars or less, such amount up to one thousand dollars shall be paid to my housekeeper Minnie Norman if still in my service; any excess of that amount shall become part of my estate.
(3) I also direct that my leasehold dwelling house No. 136 Gower Street St. John's, be sold and the net proceeds of the said sale shall become part of my estate.
(4) Subject to the foregoing I bequeath to my spiritual advisor and friend as before mentioned Rev. W.E. Godfrey the sum of five hundred dollars; and the remaining balance if any of my estate I give and bequeath unto my niece Ida Wright and my housekeeper Winnie Norman if still in my service both as before mentioned, in equal proportions absolutely.
In witness whereof I the said Emma Dawe Doyle have hereunto set my hand at St. John's this twenty sixth day of September Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and thirty one.
