Will of Edward Dunn from Newfoundland will books volume 5 pages 70-71 probate year 1886 Last will and Testament of In the name of God Amen. I Edward Dunn of St. John's Newfoundland Shipwright do hereby make and declare this to be my last will and Testament heretofore revoking all former last wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made And first as I don't owe any monies myself I desire my executors hereinafter named to pay all funeral testamentary or other debts contracted by them as such executors. Secondly I give all the monies of which I die possessed unto my executors to be paid by them unto the Roman Catholic Bishop and priests of the parish of St. John's for masses for the repose of the souls of myself and wife in equal proportions. The Rev. Fr. Vereker of Ferryland to be included with the Bishop & clergy of St. John's in the shares. I desire my executors to sell all bedding bed and all other furniture proceeds to be given for Masses as above. I desire the all my clothing shall be given to such poor persons as my executors may think in need of them. I hereby appoint James Sutton and John T. Fitzpatrick both of Saint John's my executors I certify that the foregoing is a correct copy
