Will of Stephen E. Ebsary, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 82probate year 1930

IN RE.                    DECEASED

STEPHEN E. EBSARY

This is the last will and testament of me, Stephen E. Ebsary of the Southside of St John's in the island of Newfoundland.

  1. I revoke all former wills.
  2. My land on the southside Road of St. John's aforesaid, I desire to be divided by a line running approximately through the centre thereof from front to back, from the western boundary of my present house No 147 Southside, and now occupied by me.
  3. The Eastern end of my said property together with the building thereon I bequeath to my daughter Dorothy Woolridge together with all furniture therein.
  4. The western end of my said property together with the garage thereon I bequeath to my daughter Georgina Crossman.
  5. I charge the Eastern end of my said property with the following payments which I desire my said daughter Dorothy Woolridge to pay within two years of my death, namely, To my son Alan the sum of five hundred dollars, to my daughter Ella the sum of five hundred dollars, to my daughter Laura the sum of Five hundred dollars, and to my said daughter Georgina Crossman the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.
  6. I bequeath my watch and chain to my son Alan E. Ebsary.
  7. I bequeath a small writing desk belonging to the Pitts family to my sister, Ann Lewis.
  8. All the rest residue and remainder of my estate to my daughter Dorothy Woolridge.
  9. I appoint Herbert Crossman and Frank Woolridge my sons in law to be the executors of this my will.

Dated at St John's this 17th day of December A.D. 1929.
