ST. JOHN'S
To Wit          } I do swear that I believe that Naomi Hussey, late of Camp Islands, Labrador, Spinster, deceased, died without a Will; and that I will well and truly administer all and every the Goods of the said deceased, and pay his Debts so far as her Goods will extend; and that I will exhibit a true, full, and perfect Inventory of the Goods of the deceased, and render a true account of my Administration into the Registry of the said Court, within six months from the date hereof, or when I shall be thereunto lawfully required; and that the whole of the Goods, Rights, Chattels, Assets, Credits and Effects of the said deceased, which she died possessed of, within the jurisdiction of this Court, do not, according to the best of my knowledge, judgment and belief, amount to the value of Three Hundred dollars.

After three days application will be made to the Honourable the Supreme Court or one of their Lordships the Judges thereof for Letters of Administration to the Estate of Naomi Hussey, late of Labrador, Spinster, deceased, to be granted to George J. Adams of Saint John's, Acting Clerk of the Supreme Court.
At Saint John's this 25th day of April A.D. 1889.

To the Honourable the Supreme Court or one of their Lordships the Judges thereof:

The Petition of Rachel Hussey of Bareneed, Conception Bay, in the Island of Newfoundland, Widow.

Humbly Sheweth

That Your Petitioners daughter, Naomi Hussey, late of Camp Island, Labrador, Spinster, died on the thirteenth day of November Anno Domini One thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight being possessed at the time of her decease of property within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court of the probable value of three hundred dollars.
That the said Naomi Hussey died without having made any Will and left her surviving as next of kin Your Petitioner, her mother, two sisters namely Rachel Parsons and Ruth Hussey and also two nephews namely Nathan Hussey and Absolom Hussey being the children of a deceased brother, Absolom Hussey.
That no application for Letters of Administration to be granted to the Estate of the said deceased has heretofore been made to this Honourable Court.
Your Petitioner therefore prays that Your Honourable Court or one of Your Lordships the Judges thereof will be pleased to grant Letters of Administration to the estate and effects of the said deceased to George J. Adams Esquire, the Acting Chief Clerk of the Honourable Supreme Court.
And as in duty bound Your Petitioner will ever pray &c.
At St. John's this twenty fifty day of April A.D. 1889.
