Will of Thomas J. Every Last Will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of Thomas Every of Twillingate. I give and bequeath to Silas Burt Jnr. one half of my dwelling house in which I now reside situate at Twillingate for his own use and benefit. I give to Annie Lyte who resided with me for some years past the other half or portion of my dwelling house, also one small feather bed and mattress for her own sole use and benefit. The residue of my property of all kinds whatsoever or wheresoever situate comprising household furniture and effects. Boat now on the french shore with all her gear i.e. in short anything I may be entitled to or may have a legal to at the time of my decease I give devise and bequeath to my friend Richard Newman for his own sole absolute use and benefit. And I hereby nominate and appoint my friends Richard Newman and Thomas Peyton both of Twillingate executors of this my last will and testament revoking any former will or wills by me at any time made Dated at Twillingate this twenty sixth day of April Eighteen hundred and ninety seven.
