Will of Israel Goldstone, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 467 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED
Israel Goldstone.

This is the last will and testament of me Israel Goldstone of St John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Merchant.
First. I revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions by me at any time made and I appoint my son Joseph and my son-in-law Samuel Levits the executors of this my will.
Second. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Sadie Feder the sum of one thousand dollars also all the leasehold interest in the land on which the Bargain Store in Bell Island is erected.
Third. I give the proceeds of my insurance (life) policy for five thousand dollars to my son Harry at present residing in Chester, New York.
Fourth. I give my life insurance policy with the Mutual Life in New York for three thousand dollars to my son Louis.
Fifth. I give to my daughter Minnie Levits the sum of one thousand dollars to be paid to her from the loan I gave to Walter White the balance of the loan namely one thousand dollars I give to my daughters Bontra(?) and Rosie share and share alike.
Sixth. I give to my son Charlie the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars and interest thereon which I have at present on savings account in the Canadian Bank of Commerce St John's together with the sum of three hundred dollars due to me from the sale of land on Bell Island to one Basha which property is known as the Post Office.
Seventh. I give devise and bequeath to my wife the sum of Five hundred dollars which I have on deposit in Bank of America together with all interest due thereon.
Eighth. All the rest, residue and remainder of my property of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situate I give and bequeath to my wife but it is my express wish that she will allow my interest in the London, New York and Paris association of Fashion Limited to remain in the firm.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St John's this 14th day of February in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty one.
