Will of Josiah Gosse from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 23 probate year 1929

JOSIAH GOSSE

This is my Last Will and Testament of me Josiah Gosse (of Nathl) Spaniards Bay Nfld.
That I Josiah Gosse (of Nathl) am giving over to my wife Lydia Gosse all my property consisting of dwelling house and its contents, stores Barn and all my land, excepting that piece of land Bounded on the North by Vokey South by Lorenzo Noseworthy, East by Big Brook, West by Road, said piece of land to be equally divided between my two Daughters Beterice Blanch Bishop, and Lilian Pearl Williard Gosse should they need it, but its not to be sold without first giving my son Walter Wesley Whitfield Gosse the first offer of it. Also should my wife Lydia want to sell any part or parts of said land for her support she has full power to sell any of the said property to help to support herself. Also while my said wife remains single she have the power to act with said property as seemeth best to her and my children. But should my said wife marry again she have no further claim to said property. Then it shall become the property of my son Walter Wesley Whitfield, Excepting that piece of land menchened aforesaid for my two Daughters. I also give to the Methodist Church 4 feet of Land (Four Feet) Bounded on the North by Josiah Gosse (of Nathl) South by Methodist Church, East by Kenneth Gosse, West by Road, running a straight line East and West.
I hereby appoint Martin Gosse (of Robert) Executor of this my Last will and Testament made this Fourteenth Day of July A.D. Nineteen Hundred and Twenty Five.
