In re     DECEASED.
PHILIP HANLY.

I Philip Hanly of the town of St. John's of sound mind do make & write my last will and testament making all future wills made by me canceled.
I hereby appoint S. A. Churchill & Patrick Hanly to be my executors
I hereby direct my executors to pay all my just deaths.
I leave to my sister Katie Johnson living in Boston & my sister Martha Daly Hanly living in Boston the sum of twenty five hundred dollars each.
To my grandson Patrick Hanly twenty five hundred dollars and house on front of Kings Road.
To my grandson Gerald Hanly twenty five hundred dollars and the house in Hanly Lane also the Work Shop & its contents on Gower St.
To Arch Bishop Roach the sum of five hundred dollars.
To Bishop March Harbour Grace five hundred dollars.
Belvedere Orphanage the sum of five hundred dollars.
To Mount Cashel Orphanage the sum of five hundred dollars.
To the Church of England Orphanage the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.
Methodist Orphanage two hundred and fifty dollars.
The Dorcas Society Ladys two hundred and fifty dollars.
St. Vincent D - Paul Mens two hundred and fifty dollars.
St. Viuncents D - Paul ladys two hundred and fifty dollars.
Belvedere Cemetery for looking after the ground one hundred dollars.
To my old friend Sam Churchill Five hundred dollars and anything left not mentioned is left to the discretion of my executors.
The money & houses left to my grandsons is not to be handed over until my grandson Gerald is twenty one years old.
In witness I have hereto set my hand this 5th day of December 1928.
