Last Will and Testament of
William Healy of Holyrood
Planter deceased.

      Know all men by these presents that I William Healy Planter of Holyrood Conception Bay in the Island of Newfoundland, feeble and weak in the body, but of sound memory and understanding make this my last will and Testament. I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Catherine Healy my dwelling house, kitchen garden and cellar garden to have and to hold wilst that she live, and after her the said Catherine Healys death the said dwelling house kitchen garden and cellar garden to become the property of my daughter Mary Ann Mackey. I give and bequeath to my son Francis Healy that block of land under fence ware that his house and steable are situated and all ready in his posation also one acker of land in the droak to have and to hold without any control forever. I give and bequeath to my daughter the aforesaid Mary Ann Mackey all the rest of my land, mainly the Bridge garden droak garden and Marsh garden, also my cellar steable catamaran horse harness and all utensils conected with the said land to have and to hold for ever. I give and bequeath to my grandson William Healy of Francis the largest of my two guns also I give and bequeath to my grandson Charlius Healy of Fran the smallest of my two guns to have and to hold for ever. My daughter Mary Ann Mackey is to pay all my funeral expenses. I appoint John Quinlan and Philip Healy Snr both of Holyrood to be my executors to this my last will and Testament. Given from under my hand and seal at Holyrood aforesaid this the seventh day of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and ninety five, this being first read and explained.
