Will of Stephen Hickey from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 508 probate year 1931

IN RE                    DECEASED.
Stephen Hickey

I, Stephen Hickey, Fisherman of Harbour Main in the district of Harbour Main do hereby being of sound mind and perfect understanding do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament.
I hereby appoint Patrick Ezekiel (Post Office) to be executor of this my Last Will and Testament.

  1. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary one half of my dwelling house that situated on S.W. side.
  2. I give and bequeath to my Grand-sons Stephen Hickey and Thomas Hickey that piece of land bounded by Pat Murphy on S.W. and by Thomas Hickey on NW to be equally divided between them this land to be in the custody of my son Thomas Hickey until then.
  3. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas the land known as Beaver Pond land and bounded on SW by Michael Hickey on NW by the Mountain, on NE by Pat Ezekiel and on S by Hickeys oad.
  4. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas the fishing room situate at the Riverhead and bounded on SW by Joseph and Patrick Hickey NW by Main Road and on NE by Michael Hickey,
  5. also to my son Thomas one half of V Flake room land at side of Mulrowney's Pond, and bounded on NW by Michael Hickey SE by pond NE by Pat Hickey and S by John Hickey. also
  6. to my Son Thomas that piece of land bounded on NW by Michael Hickey VI NE by pond SE by Cecilia Hickey and SW by Main Line.
  7. I give and bequeath to my Grandsons Stephen Hickey and Thomas Hickey that land situated at Marners Napa and consisting of 15 or 20 acres (more or less) to be divided equally between them, but to be held in custody by my son Thomas until so disposed of.
  8. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas all that land situated in the vicinity of my dwelling house.

In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of September 1931
