Will of William Joy Last Will and Testament of In the name of God Amen. I William
Joy of Harbour
Main Planter believing it to be the fate for all men once to die and being
sick in body but sane in mind do give my soul to God who gave it and my body
to the earth to buriel in a Christian manner and dispose of my effects in the
following manner. To my wife Elizabeth I give and bequeath all that piece or
parcel of land situated near Flings hill, bounded on the north by Thomas
Stix and Edward Woodford, on the south by the Winter path on the east by Peter
Ezekiel and on the west Thomas Wall half my dwelling
house the cabbage garden three parts of barrel of seed near the burnt hill.
