Will of Benjamin LeDrew
from Newfoundland will books volume 10 page 326 probate year 1915

In re
      BENJAMIN LEDREW       deceased.

      I Benjamin LeDrew Planter of Cupids in the Electoral District of Port-de-Grave being of sound and disposing mind do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament.
      I. I do hereby appoint Mr. John A. LeDrew Dealer and Planter of Cupids aforesaid to be sole executor of this my will.
      II. To my two sons Abram LeDrew and Tobias LeDrew both of Cupids aforesaid I give devise and bequeath my Labrador fishing room situate at Breen’s Island, Indian Tickle Labrador consisting of my stage, dwelling house and what land I now own there My Bunk house situate on the said land I leave to my three sons the said Abram LeDrew Tobias LeDrew and Henry LeDrew for their use equally in connection with the fishery
      III. To my wife Margaret LeDrew I give devise and bequeath what land I own at Cupids aforesaid & my dwelling-house and outhouses situate on the said land at Cupids aforesaid, also what Personal effects I may own at my death and my pew in the Methodist Church at Cupids to be hers during the remainder of her life, but at her, the said Margaret LeDrew’s death, I wish the said land and houses at Cupids and the said personal effects to be equally divided among my six children viz Beatrice Bishop, Clara Sheppard, Mary Ann Saunders, the said Abram LeDrew Henry LeDrew and Tobias LeDrew.    In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand at Cupids aforesaid after having had all herein carefull read over and explained to me before the signing hereof, the interdelineation on page one 18th line from the top having been made before the signing hereof, this twenty-ninth day of March A.D. 1915.    Benjamin his X mark LeDrew     Signed in our presence who in his presence and in that of each other do hereunto set our hands as witnesses Alex Serrick (Teacher) William Henry Akerman (fisherman)
