June 27th 1890 -

I thank God That I have got my Sound memory This is from my lone hand written. I put my trust in God that all my wishes will be carried out that I am going to state on this paper with Gods blessed Will I hope you will not neglect your family prayers night and morning place your trust in God has you have been taught and do not Stray from the Blessed Holy Chatlick Church of Christ, its not for me to know how soon the Blessed Lord will cauld me to leave this world of sin, but when I am gone all my children is to bide on this property and to work for theare support has the did in my day until such time has the gets a home for them seavles. My wife Selina Ledrew his to have all controeal over this property while she is with you and you will find papers in this house from the court of the settlement of this land all this property in doors and out of doors what is moveable and unmoveable is for my son Isaac Ledrew but he is not to neglect is sisters and help them if the stands in need.
I have got some money in the Union Bank at St. John's and if my family do not want it after my wifes death it is to be put in seven parts one part for each child that is if the are living. And if the have not, if the got any children the have to get theare parents part. I do put my trust in God that all my wishes will be carried through with Gods help. This is the request I ask of my family and I put my trust in God the will not neglect it. This is my last statement of me William James Ledrew. Witness (sgd) Alfred Butler (sgd) Joseph Greenslade
