IN RE DECEASED.
Mary Little
I Mary Little, of Bonavista, Newfoundland, being of sound mind declare this to be my last will and testament.
- I give and bequeath to Irene Little wife of Dugald Little, my sewing machine, also my clothes that may be suitable for her. The remainder of my clothes is to be divided between my two sisters Mrs Samuel Phillips, and Mrs William Pippy, with the exception of my overcoat which I give to Mrs Mary Clark.
- I give to Elizabeth Little, my rocking chair.
- I desire that at my death, my crockeryware be divided equally between Elizabeth Little, Irene Little and Susie Little.
- I bequeath to my nephew Joseph Pippy, my bed bedclothes and bedstead.
- I give to my sister Mrs William Pippy, my lamp, known as the large lamp.
- I give to Susie Little, my floor canvas.
- I desire that my hay, sheep and hens be divided between my brother Absalom White and Irene Little.
- I give and bequeath to my brother Absalom White, my dwelling house, with all its contents, after the above mentioned things have been divided, also the land upon which the said dwelling house is situated, together with the outhouses and the land upon which said outhouses are situated, also the land by which said dwelling house and outhouses are surrounded including my cellar.
- I also give to my brother, Absalom White, the garden known as the upper garden.
- After my funeral expenses have been paid, and a tomb stone erected at my grave, and all other expenses that may have been incurred have been paid, the remainder of my money which is in the bank of Nova Scotia at Bonavista, or any money which I may have in my house at my death, is to be divided equally between my brother Absalom White, and my two sisters Mrs Samuel Phillips and Mrs William Pippy.
- I appoint my brother Absalom White, to be the executor of this my will.
In witness whereof I Mary Little, have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of December one thousand nine hundred and thirty one.
