Will of Margaret Mahon Last Will and Testament of In the name of God amen The last will and Testament of Margaret Mahon of Torbay South District of St. John's East, Newfoundland made this 29th day of March one thousand eight hundred and ninety five. I Margaret Mahon being very sick and indisposed in bodly heath but of perfect and sound mind and memory and of good understanding and calling to mind the frality and uncertainty of human life but it is appointed once to die. Therefore I am desirous to settle my worldly affairs. I do hereby will and bequeath to my son Patrick Mahon all the land adjunctive to his house together with the meadow across the river (where the old house formerly stood) also my residual interest in that piece of land adjoining Patrick Ryand and Edward Cullen and known as James Coley's - Further I do hereby will and bequeath that my son Patrick shall defray all my funeral expences and just claims and be sole executor thereof and that is all. (Sgd) Margaret her x mark Mahon. Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Margaret Mahon as and for the last will and Testament in presence of us who in the presence of her and in the presence of each other and at her request have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.
