Will of William Morris
from Newfoundland will books volume 7 page 63 probate year 1901

Last Will and Testament of
William Morris of Lower Island Cove
Planter deceased.

      In the name of God Amen. I William Morris of Lower Island Cove with sound memory & judgment make this my last will & Testament after the following manner which is as follows
1st. That my son John is to have the whole of my land property including my Fishing Room.
2nd My wife is to have her support out of my above estate as long as she shall live and keep her name, that is as long as she continues single. She my wife is to have to her sole disposal the upstairs dining room, also the cow now in position is to be soley hers.
3rd. I also bequeath to my Grand Son William Wheeler the Feather Bed he has now in possession to be soley his.
And do appoint as sole executors to this my last will & Testament Josiah Garland & Edwd Wheeler Jr and to this do affix my hand & Seal October 16th 1859 (sgd) William Morris. Witnesses (sgd) James Morris. (Sgd) John Morris.

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of William Morris deceased
