Will of George Arran Nichols from Newfoundland will books volume 15 pages 25-26 probate year 1929

DEER LAKE NEWFOUNDLAND
January 16th 1928.

This is the last will and testament of me George Arran Nichols of Deer Lake, Newfoundland made in duplicate at Deer Lake Newfoundland this 16th day of January 1928. I revoke all previous wills, and declare this to be my last will and testament.

I give and bequeath, my son-in-law namely Arthur Dennis of Deer Lake ten acres of land commencing at the eastern corner post of my property and running west along river Humber bank, the property to have two acres frontage on the Humber River, this as shown on plan prepared by N.P.& P Co. Ltd.

I give and bequeath my son Warren Nichols of Deer Lake, ten acres of land where is he is now living, which consists of land lying between property owned by Mr Albert J. Bailey on the east, and Nichols Brook on west as shown on plan prepared by N. P. & P. Co Ltd. copy of which can be seen at my home at Nicholsville, Newfoundland.

I give and bequeath my son Norman Nichols of Deer Lake, ten acres of land which is to run west commencing at Warren Nichol's boundry on the east and to extend for two acres along river bank (Humber River) the property to run North and South for five acres in depth, and to adjoin land willed my son Warren.

I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Nichols of Deer Lake, ten acres of land which is to run for two acres along Humber river in frontage, and extend north and south for five acres in depth. This land to be bounded on east by the

Page 2 Continued of last will and testament of George Arran Nichols property I have willed to my son Norman Nichols, and on the west by the home property which I leave my wife Katie W. Nichols.

All the remainder of my property both real and personal, as is shown on plan prepared by N. P. & P. Co. Ltd. a copy of which is at my home at Nicholsville, Deer Lake Newfoundland I give and bequeath my wife Katie M. Nichols. I give and bequeath my wife Katie M. Nichols also my home, all my furniture, my cows, sheep, horses, all my money and bonds in the Bank of Montreal Curling, Newfoundland. It is my desire that my home be left to my wife, for the benefit of my younger children, and then on her death, she shall divide equally all property etc. amongst my children who may then be living, who were not granted anything in this will.

Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of the following witnesses who each together, and both at one and the same time witness my signature to my will.
