In re
      ROBERT NORTHOVER.     DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of Robert Northover, fisherman, of Viter’s Cove, New Perlican in the Electoral District of Trinity Bay. N.F.

WITNESSETH:-

      I Robert Northover, fisherman, of Viter’s Cove New Perlican in the Electoral District of Trinity Bay. Being of sound mind and mindful of the uncertainty of Life, Do, hereby and in the following manner dispose of my worldly goods as follows. That is to say:-

      All my part of Land, situate at Viter’s Cove I give and bequeath to William Northover, with the exception of that part of land situated on the Barrens, which part is to be divided between James and William Northover, sons of my deceased brother John Northover.
Of money which I have in the Bank I bequeath as follows:-

  • To James Northover above named. One hundred dollars.
  • To my niece Mrs Annie Reid of Hearts Delight, Fifty dollars.
  • To my niece Mrs Mary Warren of New Perlican Fifty dollars.
  • To my nephew William Northover. One Hundred Dollars.
  • To Mrs Lily Hart of St. John’s, Fifty Dollars.
  • To my niece Eliza B. Northover, Fifty Dollars.
  • To my nice Martha Northover, Fifty Dollars.
  • To my nice Evelyn Northover, Twenty five Dollars.
  • To my niece Frances Northover, Twenty five Dollars.
  • To my sister-in-law Mrs John Northover, Widow, One Hundred Dollars.

      The rest of my property all and sundry I bequeath to my nephew William Northover, whom I hereby name as my Executor.

      In witness whereof I hereto affix my signature and sign.

Given in the presence of us Matthew Northover and Rev Walter Bugden This fifth day of April in the year One thousand nine hundred and Twenty three.
