Will of Margaret O'Donnell Last Will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of me Margaret O'Donnell of William St. St. John's widow First I give and bequeath the house in which I live and the garden attached to my son Richard O'Donnell I give and bequeath my other house and the yard attached to my daughter Mrs. William Maher. I give and bequeath to Revd M. J. Clarke of Torbay the sum of Two hundred dollars for masses for myself and my late husband. It is my wish that a high mass be celebrated for me by him immediately after my death. I give and bequeath to the Community of Nuns at Torbay the sum of fifty pounds ($200). After the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath the rest and remainder of my money of which I may die possessed to be equally divided between my daughter Mrs William Maher and my son Richard O'Donnell I appoint George H. Emerson executor of this my last will and Testament. Dated at St. John's this 26th day of July A.D. 1892. (Sgd) Margaret her x mark O'Donnell Signed published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in our presence who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution thereof (the same having been first read over and explained) (sgd) Geo.
