Mary J. O Reilly

The last will and testament of Mary J. O'Reilly.

Considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for same. Do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
I give and bequeath to my two daughters that is to Ellen Mary Naughton my house No. 99 and land on Military road St. John's until her death and after her death to her two sons Edward and Gordon Phippard to be equally divided between them this house is now occupied by Miss Bremner.
I also bequeath to my daughter May Ruth Kendall my house and land on Military road St. John's No. 101 and now occupied by Mrs Muir until her death and after her death to be divided equally between her four children namely Willis, Mary, Edward and Henry Kendall. I further bequeath to my granddaughter Mary Ruth Kendall for her sole use and benefit the piano and other property left to me by her mother per deed herewith attached.
I also bequeath to the above named to be equally divided between them all other property not mentioned of which I may die possessed, and I hereby appoint my husband Edward O'Reilly and my nephew Rev. Robert A. St. John to be my executors.
Dated at Placentia this twelveth day of November one thousand nine hundred and twenty four.

The above instrument was at the date thereof declared to us by the testator M.J. O'Reilly to be her last will and testament
She then acknowledged to each of us that she had subscribed the same and we at her request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses.

In case of the death of my daughters or either of them I hereby appoint my nephew Revd Robert A. St John to be trustee for all the children of any and all the property bequeathed by me to them.
