This is the last will and testament of me Jane (MILLER) Allen of Topsail, Newfoundland. I give devise and bequeath all of my Real Estate and all of my personal estate, except enough to reimbuse my daughter Jennie Thorbourn out of my Insurance money for my passage from Boston U.S.A. back to Newfoundland unto my son Edward Allen his heirs and successors, and I appoint my said son Edward Allen executor of this my will, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth of November in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty three. Signed by the said Jane Allen The testattise in the joint presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Source: I found the original copy of Jane's will in package of documents held by her grandson [Gerald B. ALLEN].
