Israel Lock

Deed to lands, Woodford's Cove, Little Bay, Newfoundland This is to certify that I hereby agree to the following settlement with my Brother Geo. Lock to give to him and his heirs all right and title to a piece of land surveyed for me at Woodford's Cove. The said piece of land being the part occupied by Geo Lock and immediately West of land occupied by (self ) Israel Lock. Abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say commencing by the shore at the North West angle of the land granted to Israel Lock, running by the shore thirty feet from high water mark two chains and ten links more or less. Thence, South 24 degrees East six chains. Thence South 10 degrees East 2 chains, 20 links more or less. In consideration of Geo Lock paying to me, Israel Lock the sum of Two dollars and Thirty cents. In witness whereof I hereto sign my hand. Israel his X mark Lock in the presence of: J B Howson and John his X mark Budden Little Bay April 30th 1894
