Will of James Parsons, Req. Curling Bay of Islands Newfoundland

I, James Parsons, of Curling, Bay of Islands, Newfoundland, being of sound mind and recognizing the fact that life is uncertain, and with the love of God in my Heart do hereby make this my last will and testament.
I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Susannah Parsons all my property of every description & the majority of which consists of my land and hotel at Curling Bay of Islands. She to have complete disposal of the same after my death.
In case she predeceased me, I give devise and bequeath my property of every description equally to my beloved daughters Georgina Parsons Miller and Clarissa Parsons Hatch and James Parsons to dispose of as they see fit.
To my eldest son Charles Parsons I have already given property in Curling Bay of Islands which in my judgment is sufficient for his purposes.
I command the care of my adopted son Garland Parsons to my beloved wife and daughters.
To my daughters May Parsons Lilly and Clarissa Parsons Hatch I bequeath my blessing and a request that they do all in their power to make life pleasant for those I leave behind me.
In witness whereof I have placed my hand and seal on this First day of September in the Year of Our Lord ninteen hundred and twenty six.

Codicil to my last will & testament - James Parsons of Curling.
All my property of every description includes my Electric Light shares (Bay of Is Power & Light Co) & bonds.
And I hereby appoint my wife Susannah Parsons to be my sole executrix of this my last will & testament.
