Will of Jane Pond from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 577 probate year 1891 Last will and testament January 27th 1890 This is the last will and testament of me Jane Pond of Fair Island Bonavista Bay, that I Jane Pond as the Lord has embued me with my natural intellect as usual, and as God only knoweth my days may be drawing to an end; and may I now share my own personal property as judge I right Esther Winsor $40.00 Edward Pond $40.00 James Pond $40.00 John Pond Brenton $28.00 Headstone $40.00 William Pond's sons John & William $8.00 Edward Pond's sons, Peter & Ebenezer $8.00 Esther Winsor's daughters Elizabeth & Jane $8.00 William Pond's daughter Harriet $8.00 James' son Robert, bed and bed clothes. All moneys not willed after expenses of burial shall be equally divided to each according to portions willed, by the executors of this will. In witness whereof I the said Jane Pond have to this my last will and testament set my hand this twenty seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety This is my desire Jane her x mark Pond.
