Will of William Poole, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 pages 383 & 384 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED
William Poole.

This is the last will and testament of me, William Poole, of Little Harbour, Twillingate, in the electoral district of Twillingate made this twenty eighth day of August in the year of Our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and thirty.
(a) I hereby revoke all former wills or other testaments by me at any time herebefore made.
(b) I direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by my Executor or Executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
(c) I give and bequeath to Mrs George Vatcher of Twillingate all my belongings (including my bed and bedding) now at the said Mrs Vatcher's house, which belongings become hers at my death to have for her own. I also give to the said Mrs Vatcher twenty dollars cash as a gift to her.
(d) I will & bequeath to Ephraim Poole of Little Harbour the sum of one dollar cash and also my garden situated in Kings Cove, Little Harbour, for his own use after my death.
(e) I further will to Mrs Anne Smart of Herring Neck the sum of one dollar cash.
(f) I also will that provisions be made for a suitable monument to be erected in the cemetery to my grave by my Executor.
(g) After all estate expenses are duly met & paid by the Executor or Executors the residue of my estate which will be cash at the Bank of Nova Scotia Twillingate, I will and bequeath the said money or other residue to Maxwell Pardy of Samuel, now living and residing in the country, for his own & sole use.
(h) I also appoint Dr. I.S. LeDrew, now residing at Twillingate to be my sole executor.
(i) In case of any dispute my executors decision will be final, in all matters not mentioned in this will.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty eighth day of August A.D. 1930.

Signed published and declared by the testator William Poole as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
