Will of William Quigley from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 204 probate year 1888 Last will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of me William Quigley of St. John's farmer I give and bequeath all the property both real and personal of which I may die possessed to my beloved wife Catherine Quigley for her life time and after her death to my sons William Quigley and George Quigley equally between them and I hereby appoint John Smith of St. John's farmer executor of this my last will. St. John's Newfoundland this eighth day of April A.D. 1887 - William his x mark Quigley Signed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed as witnesses hereto - P. J. Delaney. W. H. Horwood.
