Flora Louisa Robinson.
THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Flora Louisa Robinson of St. John's, in the Colony of Newfoundland, widow; I appoint my brother John Stewart Currie, and my nephew, Lionel Chancey Currie, to be the executors and trustees of this my will.
After payment of my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath the following specific legacies:
To my sister Rhoda Elizabeth Peach, of Canso, N.S. the sum of three hundred dollars.
To my brother, John Stewart Currie, of St. John's the sum of two hundred dollars.
To my nephew, John Alexander Robinson Peach, of Canso, N.S. the sum of two hundred dollars.
To my niece, Flora Louisa Chafe, of St. John's the sum of three hundred dollars.
To my nephew, Lionel Chancey Currie, of St John's, the sum of two hundred dollars.
To my brother, William Gibson Currie, of Toronto, Canada, the sum of two hundred dollars.
To my niece, Jean Whitworth Currie, of Toronto, Canada, the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my niece Joyce Currie, of Toronto, Canada, the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my nephew, Harry Douglas Currie, of Toronto, Canada, the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my grandniece, Flora Elizabeth Robinson Chafe, of St. John's the sum of two hundred dollars.
To my cousin, May C. Taylor, of Chelsea, Mass, the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.
To my cousin, Martha Bemister, of Carbonear, the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my grandniece, Elizabeth Groundwater, of England, the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.
To my nephew-in-law, Ronald McKendrick Chafe, of St John's the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my niece, Edna Groundwater, of England, the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my sister-in-law, Ida Isabel Currie, of Toronto, the sum of one hundred dollars.
To my cousin, Mrs Lily Maria Taylor, of St. John's, the sum of fifty dollars.
I further give and bequeath as follows.
To my sister Rhoda Elizabeth Peach, my gold watch and fur coat.
To my nephew, John Alexander Robinson Peach, my interest in the mahogany dining tables, chairs, sofa.
To my niece, Dorothy Ellis, of Hill, England, my persian rug.
To my grandnieces, Flora Elizabeth Robinson Chafe, my sideboard, and sugar tongsFLR, jugs and brass candle sticks.
To my niece, Flora Louisa Chafe, one jardinier, all my jewellery not otherwise disposed of, and my nest of tea tables.
To my nephew, Lionel Chancey Currie, the little mahogany table.
To my sister-in-law, Laura Knight Currie, one jardinier, the old chest of drawers; and all clothes and other things to me belonging to be disposed of as she thinks best. consulting Rhoda.
To my niece, Edna Groundwater, of England, my case of cutlery.
I give and bequeath to my nephew, John Alexander Robinson Peach, and my niece, Flora Louise Chafe, to be divided equally between then, the income received annually from the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York under policy of my late husband.
I give, devise and bequeath to John S. Currie and Lionel Chancey Currie, executors and trustees of my late husbands estate, the residue of my estate, to form part of the residue of his estate and to be disposed of according to his will.
WITNESS my hand at St. John's this 21st day of March in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and thirty one.
