Nicholas Roche.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Nicholas Roche of Torbay in the Electoral District of St John's East Extern in the Island of Newfoundland Fisherman.
I revoke all former wills at me at any time made and declare this to be my last will and testament.
I appoint my son Thomas Roche to be the executor of this my will.
I direct that my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be first paid out of my estate.
I give devise and bequeath to my son Thomas Roche all property of which I may die possessed for his own use absolutely.
­WITNESS my hand at Torbay, aforesaid this ninth day of January A.D. 1931

SIGNED PUBLISHED AND DECLARED by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time, who at his request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses attesting the due execution hereof (the said will having been first read over and explained to the said testator in our presence who appeared perfectly to understand the same and who signed the same by making his mark hereto)
