Will of Uriah Rowsell from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 586 probate year 1932

IN RE          DECEASED.
Uriah Rowsell

  1. This is the last will and testament of me Uriah Rowsell of St. John's in the Dominion of Newfoundland, Carpenter.
  2. I bequeath unto my wife, Sarah Ann Rowsell, all moneys or cash owned by me on deposit in the Bank of Montreal or elsewhere
  3. I devise and bequeath unto my wife Sarah Ann Rowsell absolutely, my Dwelling House situate at 67 Hayward Avenue, with all household furniture and effects of every description therein.
  4. I devise and bequeath unto my four sons, Sydney E. Harold D. Henry and Max, all my land with erections thereon known as the "Old Homestead" covering an area of nine and three quarters acres, situate on the south side of South River, Halls Bay, share and share alike
  5. I devise and bequeath the residue of my real and personal estate and effects unto my wife Sarah Ann Rowsell absolutely.
  6. I appoint my said wife Sarah Ann Rowsell Executrix of this my will.
  7. It is my desire that a lot of One Hundred feet square, being part of the land referred to in Paragraph 4 and known as the 1st which covered the burial of all my relations, in other words the Cemetery lot shall never be sold out of my family of Rowsell's

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed and set my hand at St. John's this 19th day of November A.D. 1925
