Will of Henry Shave
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 pages 306-307 probate year 1911

In re
      Henry Shave          deceased.

      Know all men by these Presents that I, Henry Shave of Christchurch, Hampshire England and now residing at Nipper’s Harbor in the District of Twillingate Newfoundland Wharfinger, being in rather poor health but of Sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time hereto fore made
I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Anna Maria Bailey, all my household furniture and all other items belonging to me, or shall belong to me at my decease, in the dwelling house ii now occupy, or shall occupy at the time of my decease, including all money about me, or in the said house, belonging to me at my decease to have and hold the same to her the said Anna Maria Bailey her heirs and assigns to her and their use and benefit for ever.
I give devise and bequeath, to my daughters Sarah Pollard, and Anna Maria Bailey, all property belonging to me at Twillingate in the District of Twillingate aforesaid including land and all and several the erection thereon, or the proceeds of sale of part or whole of said property if negotiated by me and not matured fully prior to my decease, to be equally divided between the said Sarah Pollard an Anna Maria Bailey to have and to hold the same to them their heirs and assigns to their use and benefit for ever
    I give and bequeath, to my daughters Anabella Snow Kate Prawl, Sarah Pollard, and Anna Maria Bailey all money belonging to me at my decease deposited in the Methodist College Fund to be shared equally between them and lastly I nominate and appoint Benjamin C. Bailey telegraph operator now residing at Nippers Harbor aforesaid to be the executor of this my last will and testament
In testimony whereof I the said Henry Shave have to this my last will and testament, contained on this one sheet of paper have subscribed my name and affixed my seal this twenty ninth day of March A.D. one thousand nine hundred and one. Henry Shave (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the said Henry Shave as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Robert Batstone Stanley G. Maidment.
