Will of Annie Smith, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 494 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED

ANNIE SMITH.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me, Annie Smith of Cupids, Widow wife of Azariah Smith deceased.
I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and declare this to be my Last Will.
I appoint my son Robert J. Smith sole executor of this my will.
Of my money in the Bank of Montreal I bequeath to my daughter Ethel the sum of one thousand dollars. ($1,000.00)
I bequeath to my said daughter Ethel the sum of one thousand ($1,000.00) advanced by me to my said son Robert and now owing by him to me and I direct that my said daughter Ethel shall receive interest thereon at five percent per annum until my said son Robert shall pay same in full.
I bequeath to my daughter Ida, the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)
I bequeath to my grand-daughter Amy LeDrew the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
I bequeath to my grand Mona Isabel Smith the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
I bequeath to my grand-son Alan Smith Wright the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
I desire that the residue of my estate after payment of my just bets, funeral and testamentary expenses shall become the property of my said daughter Ethel.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand this twenty second day of July A.D. 1930.

Signed published and declared by the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who in her presence at her request hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses attesting the due execution thereof.
