Will of Elizabeth Story, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 478 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED

Elizabeth Story.

This is the last will and testament of me, Elizabeth Story of St John's Widow.

  1. I revoke all wills heretofore by me made.
  2. I appoint my daughter Carrie Story, the sole executrix of this my last will and testament.
  3. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Carrie Story, all my right title and interest in the dwelling house situate on Patrick Street and known as "The Maples" together with all furniture, books, silver, linen, plate, pictures and all goods, chattels and effects of every kind and description whatsoever therein contained.
  4. I give to my daughters Beatrice, wife of Ernest Case, and my daughter Carrie, all my right title and interest in the dwelling house situate on Rennies Mill Road heretofore occupied by Mrs MacKinnon share and share alike
  5. I give to my grandson, George, son of my eldest son Morley, all my right title and interest in lands held by me at Transcona, in the Province of Manitoba.
  6. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, I give and bequeath to my six children, Morley, Harold, Beatrice, Stanley, George and Carrie, share and share alike.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St John's aforesaid this 22nd day of September A.D. 1919.

SIGNED PUBLISHED AND DECLARED by the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us, who in her presence and in the presence of each other and at her request have hereunto subscribed our hands as witnesses.
