Will of William Templeman, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 495 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED

William Templeman.

This is the last will and testament of me William Templeman, of Templeman, in the Island of Newfoundland. Fisherman, on this 14th day of June, in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty three.
I hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time heretofore.
I appoint Tobias Howell, of Newton, Fisherman, to be my executor and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

  1. I give and bequeath unto my wife Louisa Templeman all the money that I die possessed of and at her decease whatever money she may have unexpended is to be divided between my two sons, Charles and Joseph Templeman, share and share alike.
  2. It is my wish that my wife have the use of all my house furniture during her lifetime and at her decease it is to be divided between my two sons, Charles and Joseph, share and share alike.
  3. I give and bequeath to my two sons Charles and Joseph all my real estate, houses and lands, waterside premises, fishery property consisting of two cod traps, and two boats and any other fishery property that I die possessed of.

I hereby declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

Signed by the said Testator, William Templeman by making his mark, the same having first been read over to him and he appeared to perfectly understand the same, in the presence of us, present at the same time, who at his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses.
