Will of Mary Ann Weir from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 520 probate year 1931

IN RE                    DECEASED.
Mary Ann Weir

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, Mary Ann Weir of St. John's Spinster.

  1. I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and declare this to be my last will and testament.
  2. I appoint Jacob Brinton of St. John's, Clerk in Holy Orders, the executor of this my will.
  3. I direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses including death duties, if any, and the cost of probating this my last will be first paid out of my estate.
  4. I bequeath my land at Newton to my two cousins James Weir, Farmer, and Edward Weir, Carpenter, share and share alike.
  5. I give to the said Jacob Brinton the sum of Two Hundred dollars $(200.00) for his personal use.
  6. I bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to my executor in trust for him to realize the same at his discretion and to give the proceeds of such realization to the Church of England Cathedral Repair Fund.

WITNESS my hand at St. John's this 19th day of May A.D. 1931
