Will of James Whelan, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 372 probate year 1931

IN RE.                         DECEASED

James Whelan.

The will of the said James Whelan as proved and accepted by the Court bequeaths as follows:-
I give and bequeath all land and property of which I may die possessed to my daughter Margaret Kelly, wife of Patrick Kelly, and to the said Patrick Kelly for their use and benefit during their respective lifetime and upon the death of the survivor of them the same shall become the property of the children of her the said Margaret by him the said Patrick Kelly share and share alike provided said children are obedient to their parents and do not neglect them should they become old and require assistance from them.
Lastly I appoint Patrick Kelly and Margaret his wife executors to this my last will.
