Will of Eliza S. Wills
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 pages 252-254 probate year 1911

In re
      Eliza S. Wills          deceased.

      I Eliza S. Wills of the City of Troy, County of Rensselner and State of New York, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, in manner following, that is to say: after all my just debts and funeral expenses are paid
First: I give and bequeath all my personal property, of every name and nature whatsoever, in the City of Troy, County and state aforesaid, of which I may die seized and possessed, to my son John H. S. Wills, absolutely and forever,
Second I give, devise and bequeath all my real property situate in St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, and also all my right, title and interest in and to any lease thereon, and also all my rights and belongings in and to any real property, or interest in any rights or belongings which may have been withheld from me, from any real property situate in said St. John’s, of which I may die seized and possessed to my said son John H. S. Wills absolutely and forever.
Third. I hereby authorize and empower my executor hereinafter named and appointed to sell and dispose of all my real property situate in said St. John’s - or any or all my rights interests and belongings therein of every name and nature whatsoever, when he deems proper, and to execute proper papers in the furtherance thereof.
Fourth: I hereby nominate and appoint my said son John H. S. Wills sole executor of this my last will and Testament. Hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 10th day of July 1901.    Eliza S. Wills. (LS) The above instrument was read to Eliza S. Wills, the testatrix named in the foregoing wills, in the presence of the witnesses hereto, before she subscribed the same, and she understood and fully knew the contents thereof, and acknowledged that she understood the same, and also that the same was her will, thereupon the above instrument, was at the date thereof. - subscribed by the said Eliza S. Wills, the testatrix named therein, in the presence of us, and each of us, and at the time of making such subscription, the above instrument was declared by the said testatrix to be her Last will and Testament, and each of us, at the request of said testatrix, and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, signed our names as witnesses thereto, and written opposite our names our respective places of residence.
