Will of Matthew Young from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 553 probate year 1929 In re DECEASED. I, Matthew Young of the town of Twillingate in the Island of Newfoundland being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make my last will and testament, in manner and form following. First. I give devise and bequeath my land known as the farm and situate on both sides East and West of the Public road leading from Twillingate to Little Harbour to my son Cyril Young If my wife Jane Young and my son Cyril decide to sell the said land then the purchase money is to be divided as follows, one half be given to my son Cyril, one quarter to my wife one quarter to be divided between my son Ralph and known as the potato garden to be my son Cyrils. My stage all boats, store house nets, and cattle & stable to be my son Cyril. My dwelling house to be my wifes while she remains on the property but not to be sold unless my son Cyril and my wife agree to the sale and in case my son survive his mother then the said house is to become his property, but in case my son should die before his mother then, in that case the property devised and bequeathed to him is to become my wifes. The land purchased from Robert Rice becomes the property of my sons Harold & Chesley. I
hereby appoint my wife Jane Young to be my Executrix of this my last will. MATHEW
