Hey my g-father was Herbert Cave from Change Islands, b 1923...his father and mother were Absalom cave and Beatrice Rowbottom, after his father returned from War, he died due to illness, and his Mom married a Slade from Lushes Bight...she died during child birth. They were placed in the orphanage in St.Anthony. Trying to find parents of my g-g parents.

Here is the link to Absolem and Beatrice wedding. They are no. 13 on the page. They were married in Quirpon on Aug. 18, 1919.

Here is the link to Absalom's death. He is no. 6 on the page. He died of Typhoid Fever on Nov. 10th, 1924 at Change Islands at age 30yrs.

Here is a link to the 1921 census for Quirpon. You'll notice there is only one family of Robottom's and there is a son named Herbert age 26 in that family. You'll also notice that at Beatrice's wedding one witness was Herbert Robottom,May be her brother.
