Hi There, Cleophus Belvin in his book, The Forgotten Labrador, 2006, McGill-Queens, writes, "Admiral Bayfield, in the summer of 1834, also met Louis Chevalier, who had inherited the posts in St Paul's River from Nathaniel and Philip Lloyd. Chevalier appears to have arrived in the St Paul's River area in the late 1790s. He married Mary Anne Vane, who bore him at least two daughters, Mary Sophia Chevalier, wife of Captain Jones, and Mary Ann Chevelier, wife of Samuel Robertson" Belvin goes on to discuss Chevelier's success in business at his post, etc. Hope it's something you seek. Cheers Greg Mitchell
