Wilhelmina and Carrie immigrated to the US on the same ship on 4 Oct 1923. Wilhelmina's father was entered as Mark and Carrie's father was entered as Enos. Both fathers and daughters had their residences in Notre Dame Bay. Both had the same destination, New York City. Wilhelmina married Harry Peckham (born in Newfoundland) in Massachusetts on 21 June 1924 and Carrie married Adolphus Moore (born in Newfoundland) in New York City on 30 March 1925. It is easy to assume that they were related but I want to find a record indicating that they were related. I can find no connections between Mark Penney and Enos Penney. |

Methodist Church records for Fogo William and Sarah Penny of Seldom Come By had son Enos baptised 21 January 1863. His birth given as August 1862. Also they had son Mark Willis baptised 8 October 1865. His birth was 26 November 1864. |
