Post subject:  Help with research - John Crant

Hi all, I am finding myself at a roadblock in my family tree.

I know that Frances Matthews was my grandmother's grandmother. Records show that she married John Crant/Grant in 1900 in Burgeo. This may possibly be John HENRY Crant, but I'm not sure. Estimated year of birth from the marriage record is 1875.

There is a probable daughter, Lillian, born in Red Island.
Frances Matthews Crant remarried in 1909, which suggests that John Crant died prior to this date.

I have possible parents of Robert Crant and Priscilla Buffett.

Does anyone have any more information on this family, or suggestions of where to look?

Hi cameha2! Thanks for the help. I think the first option matches the information I have most closely.
