My great-great-grandmother, HONORA POWER (born abt. 1823), was married to JOHN BRIEN of Red Head Cove. Their children (all born in Bay de Verde) included: Patrick (Ann Kinsella), Margaret (John Reid - my great grandparents), James (Mary Looney), Catherine, Ellen & Stephen.
Any information you may have on Honora and these families would be appreciated.

James Power (c1752-1809) of Kilbronan?, Co. Waterford, Ireland, and his sister Joanna Londergan, and brothers David and James settled at Low Point near Bay de Verde. David Power had three sons: James, John, and David. James Power had four sons: Thomas, John, David, and Michael. The choice of Godparents for the children of John Brien and Honora Power suggest that Honora Power was born at Low Point, was likely a daughter of David or James Power.
