RALPH, Marguerite V. (nee Foley) - December 31, 1936 -February 6, 2002. Accompanied by her husband Ambrose, Marguerite is coming home to rest. A Mass in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, Whitbourne. Interment to follow at RC Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.

REID, Aubrey Robert - (Retired Superintendent with CNT). Our dearest father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Friday, November 1, 2002, aged 85 years, originally from Chapel Arm, Trinity Bay. Predeceased by his wife Lilias. Leaving to mourn with forever lasting memories, five daughters: Joyce (Lewis), Vivian (Harvey), Dorothy (Robert), Elizabeth (Earle) and Jacqueline (Leon); six sons: Harvey (Betty), Winston (Maude), Terry (Ida), Alton (Marie), Robert (Carol) and Charles (Darlene); twenty-seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren whom he cherished so much. Also leaving to mourn sister Mary Warren (nee Reid); sisters-in-law: Agnes Smith, Dorothy Rowe (Maxwell), Nina Andrews (Reginald) and Marion Warren; brothers-in-law: Norman Warren (Barbara), Wilson Warren (Margaret) and Charles Warren (Marjorie); other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2- 4 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral service from St. Mary the Virgin Church on Monday, November 4, 2002 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Predeceased by her husband Frederick Reid, February 1998. Leaving to mourn; four sons and four daughters, Vern (Melba), Fred (Mary), Ron (Bea), Darrell (Brenda), Marjorie Gosse (Raymond), Phyllis Moore (Irving), Jean Pinsent (Wayne), Betty MacIsaac (Larry); fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, brother John Moore, sister Elsie Mills, a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren`s Funeral Home, Dildo. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Trinity Bay South Corps on Saturday June 1 at 2 pm. Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2002, Reuben Reid of Dildo, age 91 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Susie (1997). Leaving to mourn five sons and three daughters: Andrew (Hazel), Donald (Dulcie), Jim (Patricia), Daisy Smith (Winston), Gower (Ada), Gladys Jackson (Ellis), Inez Newell (Fred, deceased), Larry (Ruby); twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one brother Wilmore (Chatfield); one brother-in-law Harry Newhook (Hazel); two sisters-in-law: Jessie Gosse, Jean Reid; a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Warren`s Funeral Home, Dildo from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 until time of funeral. The funeral service was held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corps on Thursday, July 18 at 3:00 p.m. Interment followed in the Salvation Army Cemetery. No flowers by request. Left to mourn, one sister Mildred Rowe at the Trinity Conception Manor, Winterton; sister-in-law, Greta Reid, Heart`s Delight; special friends, Brigadier Nina Bishop and Mildred Renouf; a number of nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends (especially those at the Glenbrook Lodge). Resting at the S.U.F. Lodge, Heart`s Delight from 7 p.m. Saturday, November 30 until time of funeral. Predeceased by his mother Audrey, father Walter and brother Derek. Leaving to mourn wife Ruth; two daughters: Tracy (Jeff Fry) of St. Phillips, Susan (Serge Gallant) of Montreal; son David (Jodi Button) of Ottawa; brother Dennis (Nellie); sisters: Cindy (Les), Darlene (Bob) and Beverly; nieces and nephews and two granddaughters: Caroline Fry and Emily Gallant; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Loving mother of Bill Roberts (Chris), Elizabeth Hutchings (Alex), Olwen Therrien (Ross), Peigi Brown and Terry Roberts. Loving stepmother to Al Sharkey (Dorothy), Brian Sharkey (Joyce) and Dave Sharkey (Cindy). Loving sister of Ralph Mills (Blanche- deceased) of St. John`s, Nancy Adams (Ray) of Willowdale & Fern Asbridge (Archie) of North York. Predeceased by sisters Marjorie Parsons (Max) of St. John`s & Iris Mills of Toronto and brothers Hedley Mills (Marion) of Corner Brook & Austin Mills (Ruth) of Gander. Predeceased by sister Amelia Rockwood of Hearts Content and parents Jacob and Mahala Smith of New Perlican.
