The Gail Latham Smith Home Page

It was our mother's interest in learning more about her ancestors that interested me in genealogy. She loved learning new information about her family and passed down many stories that were taught to her. She was born Mabel Hanebury on October 20, 1910 in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. Our father's heritage was also an interesting one. He was born Harry George Salisbury Latham on October 8, 1907 in Birmingham, England. His early years changed the course of his life bringing him to another country at a very early age. I call my family page, Mabel's Attic, because that is where it all began.
